DTF Artwork Best Practices

To ensure the highest-quality DTF transfers and avoid production issues:

  • Scaling artwork after preparation can introduce transparent pixels, distort edges, or alter halftone dot size, which may reduce print quality. It is always best to scale your design in photoshop using scale with “Nearest neighbor (Hard edges)”

  • Halftones are prepared at the selected LPI. Printing at a different size or resolution may cause underbase visibility or edge distortion.

  • We recommend printing the exact file delivered.

  • Opening, resizing, re-saving, or altering the file may change halftone structure, transparency, or color output.

  • On-screen colors may differ from printed results due to monitor calibration and printer profiles. We are not responsible for color accuracy. For best accuracy, reference a printed color chart from your specific DTF printer and provide those exact codes when requesting color matching.
